Receptionist

Description

· Answer, screen, route, and provide assistance with calls/inquiries.
· Give information to callers
· Update directory list
· Process Samples
· Process reports
· Reserve Conference rooms for meetings and assist with set-up/ take down of meeting rooms
· Greets and assists visitors courteously to provide service.
· Receives and distributes in-coming package mail as addressed.
· Coordinates and maintains records of out bound priority letter and package mail.
· Works on small projects such as filing, scanning, faxing, copies, etc.
· Back Up for DWS store
· Back Up for checking in daily via truck
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
• Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Display good customer service driven/oriented skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Display interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas and outside customers, contacts and vendors as required
• Working knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, and specialized business applications software
• Knowledge of departmental/organizational policies and procedures.
• Discretion in dealing with confidential information.
• Able to communicate and work well with all levels of organization (i.e. middle management, customers, and suppliers)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED

• 1-2 years of relevant office experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Bilingual (English & Spanish preferred).


Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods (could be as long as 6 hours).

• Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor)

• Physical demands may include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping

• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling up to 30lbs
