•Ensure collection of past due supplier accounts from inception to account resolution.
•Notify customer of outstanding balance, research payment discrepancy, develop/execute payment plan, and document actions taken.
•Correspond with suppliers and provide record-keeping to resolve short pays and billing adjustments.
•Ensure timely follow-up to comply with severity of past due status.
•Convey collection action plan/status of resolution to appropriate sales/executive management team.
•Display tact and diplomacy in resolving collections issues to satisfy SWS's business needs and suppliers' expectations.
•Provide cooperative communication to foster collaboration with suppliers and sales force.
•Perform other work related duties and special projects as assigned.
•Centiv Graphics ; Work with independent graphics company regarding wine lists, displays, and related graphical artwork done for SWS and its Suppliers.
•Sample Charges ; Perform system mapping functions, prepare manual billings, and handle other related accounting requirements.

•High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of collection experience.
•Intermediate-Advance in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and proprietary record-keeping database.
•Persuasive negotiation skills in matters of payment discrepancies. Independent discretion and judgment.
•SAP experience preferred Credit and Collections training with an institute such as NACM.
•Experience in high volume manufacturing or distribution company.
