Process Improvement Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and build custom software/applets to optimize employee functionality
  • Demonstrate and maintain expertise in query, reporting, automation, and presentation tools
  • Create automation processes to gather data from databases and format into reports, scorecards, etc. based on communicated requirements
  • Create/develop automated reporting tools for use with call center systems (Cisco, Calabrio, etc.)
  • Recommend, build, and present ROI business cases for various alternatives relating to system and project improvements for how different functional areas interact with various software and tools to complete a task
  • Assist with data visualization and dashboard solutions to identify and clarify business performance issues
  • Recommend and build systems and processes that best meet information needs and account for platform constraints and limitations
  • Gather information, perform discovery, document current business processes, gather and analyze supporting data covering various aspects of the business as it relates to the National Call Center
  • Establish and execute test plans to ensure data and system integrity for reporting and analytics
  • Identify reporting or process inefficiencies to pursue opportunities for increased efficiencies through full automation, partial automation, or other technologies in standardization, cost reduction, compliance with corporate standards, and the promotion of best practices
  • Gather data and format reports, metrics, scorecards, etc. to support Executive Management and business
  • Serve as liaison with National Continuity of Business team to develop plans for the NCC to support any division using the Sapphire system
  • Support management within the NCC, work collaboratively and cross-functionally with commercial, operational, financial, and strategic leaders to pursue opportunities for increased efficiencies and promotion of best practices
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Ability to create within coding languages: VBA, C#, C++
  • Firm understanding of DB2 for I-series, SQL, Informix, Office Interop
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Access)
  • Strong Analytical skills; emphasis in Statistics, Quantitative Methods of Business and Information Technology a plus
  • Must be able to complete work and be held responsible for various on-time deliverables
  • Must be able to communicate and professionally voice personal opinions about solutions/recommendations to various levels of management
  • Ability to Travel: 10%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (work experience may be substituted for degree)
  • Experience with Cisco, Calabrio
  • Experience with large Enterprise Reporting Tools such as Microsoft Reporting Services and SAP Business Objects

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
