Security and Loss Prevention Coordinator

Description

  • In accordance with security plan, ensure company policies, procedures, and practices are followed consistently and applied uniformly.

  • Answer incoming driver calls promptly and work with the delivery department to monitor, review and track all shortages in the delivery field.

  • Review video and record all product discrepancies that may have resorted in a delivery shortage.

  • Prepare written documentation and reports as necessary regarding research of inventory discrepancies, product loss and/or theft

  • Reports and work as necessary to support the Loss Prevention Department.

  • Partners with Inventory Control, Delivery, Routers, Warehouse and Customer Service on Shortages, Claims, and Security Issues, Etc.

  • Distribute, research, review and track claims as required. Work directly with the Security Director for follow up on claims.

  • Complete necessary written and electronic logs documenting situation and response.

  • Respond to the needs of the Security and Loss Prevention Department which includes working with vendors, researching products, learning security programs.

  • Support key control, access control, and alarm control as directed by the Director of Security.

  • May be asked to conduct on-site inspections under the guidance of Security Director. (Traveling to other locations)

  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and exhibit professionalism when partnering with management and various departments discussing sensitive information.

  • Remain productive at all times and consult with management if downtime occurs.

  • Work flexible hours which may include early morning, evenings, weekends and/or mandatory overtime. Additional hours required peak season of October, November and December.

  • Adhere to company attendance policy.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Must be proficient in working with computer hardware and software, specifically Microsoft Office products.

  • Language skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.

  • Competent working independently on a daily basis with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years applicable experience.

  • Ability to lift and carry 35 pound cases of product.

  • Associate's Degree.

  • CPR/First Aide certification(s).
