The Principal Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software solutions. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution in support of IT changes to business processes. May participate in change control processes and approvals, particularly at more experienced levels. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Documents all problems communicating the issue to development staff to assist in their resolution. Deliver quality and testing process training to IT staff and project teams and perform quality and testing audits across the various IT functions to ensure adherence to quality and testing standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed properly and consistently. The Senior QA Analyst acts as team leader with strong leadership skills and ability to build high performance work teams for solution testing. This individual also coordinates the work activities and results with the offshore leader of an outsourced testing organization that will offset capacity issues during time periods with heavy project loads.

The responsibilities for this role are:
Develop testing approaches, including those for test automation
Plan and document succession planning within scope of responsibility
Develop test plans, including test conditions and expected results, test cases, and test scripts
Identify test data requirements and work with other teams as needed to create and maintain test data
Execute testing, including documentation of test results and defects
Assist in defect troubleshooting and resolution
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of software testing tools
Create, run, and maintain reports to measure and track testing metrics
Participate in testing automation, including script development and maintenance
Stay up-to-date on software application testing tools and best practices
Deliver quality and testing process training to IT staff and project teams
Oversee and participate in quality and testing audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality and testing standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed

Experience testing SAP Hybris business processes and knowledge on Hybris concepts like Items, products, content catalog
Experience Test automation experience (1 plus years) of Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, UFT tools.
Should have knowledge on Hybris concepts like items, products, content catalog.
Experience working with Service Order Processing using Mobile, Mobility integration, Service contract processing, Service Request Management, Activity Management, and business rule
Ability to utilize Backoffice for data validation
Strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines
Experience coordinating with a testing organization that is located offshore
Experience coordinating a testing scenario focused on quality assurance of development and
support changes in an SAP landscape or similar integrated ERP platform
Experience coordinating and executing the regression and performance testing for packaged
releases on a defined schedule timeline
Demonstrated ability to evaluate process and technology solutions to outline the right level of
testing to be created or executed to ensure a change will not impact the production environment upon release
Experience running or managing a significant business wide IT project or change
Capability to understand SGWS’s application portfolio as well as how the different systems contribute to daily business operations

Bachelor’s or Technical Degree Required (computer science, information systems, business administration or other industry related curriculum)
Note: Sufficient and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational Requirements

5 or more years of work experience in IT, including roles that span software application testing from small to large and from simple to complex
4 to 5 years of experience in testing Hybris eCommerce applications
1 or more years of work experience in a team lead role, preferably including responsibility for solution testing
Experience leading teams (people, budgets, objectives)

Domestic travel, less than 25%
