Digital Marketing Retail Lead

Description
This position is responsible for leading consumer digital marketing eCommerce strategy and execution at SGWS.
This includes defining retail eCommerce strategy at SGWS, building digital marketing and eCommerce expertise at SGWS,
and for driving growth at our retailer partners though creation of best in class in store and online activities. This role will require heavy
partnership with our national suppliers and retailers across the full breadth of e-commerce decisions: digital marketing campaigns,
assortment recommendations, program ROI, user experience and content optimization, and joint in-store and online
sales strategy. This role will be the primary contact for retailer e-commerce at SGWS, and the lead for developing and deploying
all related activities at SGWS. The ideal candidate is an expert in CPG eCommerce, with demonstrable experience of understanding
customers’ needs as well as the competitive retail landscape, and using it to help grow an online sales platform.

Key Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
Partner with the SGWS National Accounts team to develop and champion an eCommerce vision, strategy, and roadmap to
drive in store and
online sales with key retailers.
Translate retailer in store strategy to eCommerce.
Connect with key retailers directly to develop our joint eCommerce business. This includes being the day to day expert for
optimizing sales through
product mix, promotions/ads, pricing and digital experience.
Use customer insights, competitive research, and analytics to identify and validate product opportunities.
Evaluate and adjust programs to optimize ROI.
Collaborate with national suppliers to create joint programs, and serve as the single point of contact for eCommerce execution
for the retailer.
Strategically leverage SGWS assets to develop strategic partnerships that create alignment across channels.
Work with retailer eCom teams to optimize user experience for total beverage alcohol category.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience in editorial and content management with demonstrated
experience in building and administering websites and other digital initiatives such media, partnership and activations
driving sales and growth.

Additionally, you will possess:
BA/BS Degree required, MBA preferred
5 years of experience in eCommerce/digital/retailer marketing in the CPG space
In depth experience in Category Management
Ability to interface with both business and technical resources, and articulate needs across
Strong analytical skills. Ability to synthesize information and present in a clear and meaningful way
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency working within an enterprise level CMS and DAM environment
Experience managing digital marketing initiatives driving sales and growth
Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for wine and spirits industry required.
