Commercial Strategy Effectiveness Analyst

What You Need To Know


The Commercial Strategy Effectiveness Analyst is responsible for providing route-to-market, sales execution, commercial operations, project management and business optimization analytics and support for the Commercial Effectiveness team.

As a critical support position within the Commercial Effectiveness “SWAT” team, this role will provide support for high level strategic decisions around organizational structure, business processes, and tools/analytics across the enterprise. 

Additionally, this role supports all internal team processes including presentation and meeting support, budgeting and financial analysis and communications.

Primary Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Support program management and execution on regional/state strategic optimization and performance improvement efforts.
•    Support the design, development, and implementation of functional, structural and procedural solutions through data analytics
•    Translate documented project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for applications
•    Provide analysis on Route-to-Market design, sales planning/execution, sales force size/coverage, org. structures, etc.
•    Develop customer/account modeling and analysis: account segmentation, channel strategy, cost-to-serve analytics, ROI, supplier assignments, goal management etc.
•    Support performance management initiatives including compensation/incentive design, development of KPIs, etc.
•    Provide and advise leadership on data-driven solutions addressing business opportunities
•    Create and update project plans to report the progress to all stakeholders
•    Ensure that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision-making capabilities

•    Identify data quality issues and support the data governance initiative by participating in necessary activities including data profiling
•    Determine testing needed to assure the functionality and integrity of reporting solutions, conduct testing and evaluate testing results recommending and/or taking corrective action as necessary
•    Conduct high-level analytical support for requested reporting
•    Support operational efficiencies and cost savings initiatives.
•    Support salesforce effectiveness initiatives and projects and efforts in the regions/states.
•    Collaborates with regional/state Commercial Strategy and Operations teams.
