Director of Analytics

• Direct Analysts on reporting through all of the operating systems provided by SWS

• Mine data, research/analyze business initiatives, and evaluate Pro Formas

• Develop tools and business process to support sales, route-to-market, and Operations

• Assist in the evaluation of sales, processes, route-to-market, and Operations


• Attend Operation Meetings

• Attend Projection and Fast Start Meetings w/BMM

• Work with the Executive Office for any special and mandatory reports

• Ad-hoc analysis upon requests

• Work with Corporate on all new and updated versions of programs offered

• Set up training for all Analysts to sharpen all computer skills

• Provide system trainings for company reporting software – ie ProDiver, Business Objects

• Yearly reviews for Analysts

• Work with HR for On Boarding for the departments managed

• Become the subject matter expert in all BI related tools that SGWS supports

• Interface with management to assess company needs and effectively utilize BI team to provide effective solutions

• Accurate and timely information through proper utilization of BI team

• Identify and address improvements or impediments to maintain efficient operations

• Able to work independently without supervision



• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related discipline

• Three to Five years’ experience in Analytics or similar position

• Three to Five years’ experience in developing complex Excel and PowerPoint presentations

• Three to Five years’ experience in a management related position

• Strong Analytical Skills and experience using internal systems and multiple data sources

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and a strong desire to deliver value-added support to internal and external customers

• Flexible work schedule


• Advanced degree or study in Business Analytics

• Advanced level of analytical skills and ability to use internal systems and multiple data sources

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

• Industry knowledge to include understanding of distribution, wine varietals, beer and spirits categories

• Experience with AS 400

• Strong organizational experience

• One to two years’ experience in beverage industry related position
