Warehouse Operations Inventory Project Manager

The Manageris responsibleto measure, analyze, and report on critical cost performance measurements and operation efficiency metrics.This role will identify areas for continuous improvement, recommend improvement initiatives, and track the incorporation of the improvement initiatives.This role will focus on projects integrating third party applications with SAP and WMi.This role will focus on leveraging the new technology initiatives and processes around warehouse operations and inventory control.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Design solutions in MM and WM modules including order processing, shipping, receiving, slotting, utilizing RF scanning / barcoding to successfully map business process to SAP

· Provide knowledge of best practices and be able to perform business analysis for executive decision-making that includes detailed data analysis and presentation of results

· Lead supply chain improvements in SAP, WMi. WCS.

· Generate daily, weekly and monthly Operations metrics reports including Receiving Pending Putaway, Previous Days Receipt, Daily Will Call, Daily Returns, Daily Inventory Audit, MTD Returns, Bi-weekly Dashboard. Report Central Region NOIP data to corporate once a month.

· Assist the Director of Operations in deploying and optimizing new productivity enhancing technologies.

· Develop site best practices, standard production rates and engineered standards.Coach employees and supervisory staff on deployment as well as maintenance of productivity standards/methods.

· Develop and maintain key performance indicators to monitor and measure process results and effectiveness.

· Work in cross-functional teams and build relationships with employees and supervisory teams.

· Schedule, prepare, and manage data collection studies to support operational process improvements.

· Perform other job related duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor degree plus 3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Experience inSAP MM/WM with 2 full life cycle implementations including hyper-care support and at least one roll-out experience

· Experience with Sales and Distribution (focusing on distribution), material master, inventory management, Logistics execution and rich integration experience with cross modules (e.g, MM and FI)

· 6 years of Supply Chain experience and knowledge of lean supply chain principles

Preferred Qualifications

· Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration with specialization in Supply Chain and Operations

· Strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive common supply chain processes across functions within a facility and across facilities

· Leadership and management skills to help lead and contribute to the strategic direction of the team

· Hands-on experience in designing and implementing RF solutions in SAP WM / eWM

· Good understanding of SAP BI and HANA

· At least 3 years of experience in Wholesale Distribution Industry with a minimum of 2 years in beverage distribution with good exposure to warehouse operations

· Working knowledge of third party applications like Dematic material handling systems and RoadNet transportation systems

· Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Visio, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)

· Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently with minimal direction

· APICS CPIM certification is an added plus

Physical Demands

· Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

· Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

· May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
