Finance/Pricing Manager, TX - Transatlantic Division

Overview
Manage all pricing related activities and assist Finance Director in compiling/reviewing financial analytics for the business unit, developing and monitoring progress.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Lead implementation of all price increases Provides feedback on profit implications of price changes and excess inventory closeout
•Coordinate with Director of Marketing to develop/implement pricing of all new items
•Assist leadership with monthly and yearly financial closing activities and communicate results
•Track profit and loss (P&L) and alerts local market and national leaderships of any overspend risk
•Support leadership in building profit and loss (P&L) to achieve supplier AOPs
•Works with SWS Marketing and Sales organizations to ensure that profitability goals are achieved
•Support leadership in managing sales and marketing budgets
•As part of annual planning process, work with Marketing and Sales organizations to ensure plans adhere to budgets and price strategy
•Work with Marketing Directors to drive margin improvement and conduct on-going assessment
•Manage all aspects of accounting operations such as receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting
•Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor degree plus 7 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications
•Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong Accounting background
•Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification preferred
•Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
•Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
•Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
•Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
•Excellent communication and interaction skills; both verbal and written with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
•Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict< resolution skills
•Strong customer service orientation is required with ability to manage multiple changing priorities and timelines while being effective through others and time management
•Excellent/strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
•Excellent ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
•Ability to build, motivate and manage a team
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to be energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives
•Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
•Ability to travel as needed
Physical Demands
•Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
•Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
•May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
