District Sales Manager - Premier Wine On Premise

Responsibleforthe development of partnerships with current or potential OnPremisetopromotethe sale, pricing, supply and serviceof Southern Glazer’s products and services.Responsible for development of corporate account strategies and specific account plans designed to achieve

SGWSobjectives.Accountableforincreasingbeverage sales within currentOnPremise chain accounts while ensuring customer support service througheffectivebrandmanagement,distributionandprogram/pricing support.

Providessalestoolstothefieldinsupportofcorporate accounts includinganyapplicablecommunications necessary for the achievement of businessplan,regional & nationalaccountpricingtemplates,corporateaccount programannouncements,regionalaccount contact references and monthly successes.

Monitors the field implementation and execution of regional programs within corporateaccountstoensureproduct pricing and promotion in accordance withagreedupontermsandconditions,effective discount management, adherencetoproduct ordering guidelines and procedures and management of programdeadlines.Monitorsinventorylevelstoensureproduct availability,replenishmentand distribution.Tracks sales for corporate accountsbyunit,chain,dollarandcases on a monthly, quarterly and annualbasis.Identifiesshortand long term account opportunities and creates related plans to leverage SGWS products/relationships.

Partnerswithsupplierstoidentifyandprospectaccount opportunitiessuchasjoint sales calls, product marketing/promotions and business reviews.Solicits vendors for support for corporate account initiatives.



·Priorexperience in the liquor wholesale/distribution business withdemonstratedsuccessinthedevelopmentand management of keyaccounts, national accounts or chain accounts.

·A strong background in on-premise liquor and wine sales is a must.

·Candidatesshouldhaveabackgroundin sales management experience includingbutnotlimitedtosupplier/vendor relations, direct sales, pricing/promotions.

.Direct fine wine sales a plus

·Degree in business, marketing, sales or related discipline considered apre-requisite for the vast majority of candidates and an advanced degree considered a plus.

·Must have a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license

·Ability to travel 50%
