CPWS Trade Development Analyst- Dallas

Overview
Provide reporting, analytic review, and support to members of the Trade Development team to assist in marketing planning, programming and support, as well as costing opportunities and route-to-market strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze large amounts of sales, marketing, and consumer data and identify local market opportunities (consumer shifts/trends, channel dynamics, key account [NAOP/ chains] dynamics, etc.)
  • Create detailed reporting and analysis for marketing development related to specific areas such as marketing programming, KPI development, etc. based on a variety of factors such as geography, region, chain specific, category, etc.
  • Develop and maintain marketing pricing and contract calendars, closeouts, and inventory reduction items within regulatory guidelines and timetables
  • Ensure all program tracking is accurate, timely, and aligns with regional and individual state reporting
  • Develop supplier presentations including market research, data analysis, and interpretation of market measures
  • Collaborate with team to develop strategic data modeling tools and databases
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of pricing, finance, or analytical experience within a consumer goods environment
  • Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email and specialized business applications software
  • Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all level of management
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and relevant stakeholders
  • Knowledge of applicable state regulations and adult beverage market dynamics
  • Extremely detail oriented, solid analytical abilities, research skills and problem solving skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal English communication skills
  • Must require little direction or supervision; goal-oriented, focused, and assertive
  • Experience making business presentations/reviews to small groups
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities on tight deadlines and maintain high level of quality output
  • Strong analytical, leadership and verbal/written communication skills
Physical Demands
  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20 lbs
  • Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekends
