Responsibilities
Job ID CHA00000138 Date posted 01/19/2021- Transport depot merchandise from Columbia to either Charleston, Hilton Head, Greenville or Myrtle Beach.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle each day.
- Making statewide deliveries to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, package stores, etc.
- Receive payment for goods delivered.
- Safe and courteous operation of delivery vehicle at all times.
- Sort merchandise by invoice for delivery.
- Check in money and returned goods daily with customer assurance clerk.
- Properly complete all required paperwork daily, including DOT logbook and DVIR Book.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be DOT certified.
- Must possess a valid South Carolina Class A driver's license.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to occasionally lift seventy-five (75) pounds.
- Ability to perform simple math problems.
- Ability to safely operate vehicle and hand truck.
- Ability to represent company with positive attitude.
