Instructional Graphic Designer

Description
General Scope of Responsibility
Work in collaboration with the Director of Design & Delivery towards the development and creation of instructional assets and infographics for digital and print media.
Manage individual timelines and outcomes for design deliverables supporting classroom and digital learning as well as team marketing documents for executive review.

Meet with project leads and subject matter exports from cross-functional roles to gain insights into end-user training needs. Work directly with curriculum authors to
develop visual story boards for learning objectives in-line with intended individual performance, business outcomes, and organizational goals.

Integrate final products into learning management system, team asset library, and, or final curriculum collateral for team delivery. Peer-mentor and lead teammates in
utilizing design templates within Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Word) and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Captivate).
Develop strong credibility while working independently and effectively within a remote team environment to complete concurrent tasks and processes for day to day activity.
Maintain a high level of personal confidentiality and utilize consultation skills to provide professional recommendations and guidance when working with key stakeholders,
SMEs, and curriculum authors to produce effective and well-designed assets.
Manage personal travel and expenses for design activity. Travel domestically up to 50% of the time each month, may exceed this during peak project periods.

General Background of Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidates will be able to visually translate complex concepts, intuitively and creatively, for internal clients and their intended audience; experience leading design
projects within a corporate environment is preferred.

The candidate will have a working knowledge of artistic and graphic design principles and techniques, and be able to demonstrate a professional application of this
knowledge via a digital portfolio or resume-website. The candidate must be able to utilize and stay current with existing and emerging graphic design tools for visual assets;
experience with instructional design (e-learning) authoring tools is a plus. Ideal candidates will be able to design, layout, and prepare finished artwork to develop visual products
with a general knowledge of the principles of print design, typeface, color, layout, and production techniques. Working knowledge of the use of color, tone, shading, harmony,
and perspective drawing is a must.

The ideal candidate will have experience using HTML and CSS for animation and, or creating interactive, multi-state objects within InDesign, Captivate, and, or PowerPoint.
Candidates must have demonstrated skills using traditional and computer-based design methods and software including, but not limited to, the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
(InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge of Adobe Animate and Premiere Pro is a plus.
Candidates must be able to generate design templates in preferred authoring tools for team collaboration and oversee general asset management across sharing platforms
(Creative Cloud libraries and Microsoft OneDrive).

Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
-3+ years of graphic design experience, instructional graphics design experience a plus
-1 to 2 years of beverage alcohol distribution experience, or related consumer product goods
Preferred Qualifications
-Adobe Certified Expert
-3+ years of Adult Learning Experience creating SCORM compliant eLearning assets
-Experience with Analytics Training and, or Tableau based reporting environments is a plus.
